College student Kouta Enatsu is somewhat strange compared to his fellow alpha peers. Despite having many of the superior characteristics typical of the secondary sex, he is unable to smell pheromones and does not understand why all of his friends are obsessed with omegas—people whose secondary sex causes them to go into heats, which make them irresistible to alphas. Kouta instead longs for the days when they could just talk about baseball. But all of this changes when he smells incredibly intense pheromones on the other side of his apartment wall. Thinking his tough-looking neighbor brought an omega home, Kouta leaves the area to give them some alone time. However, he is shocked when he discovers that despite his tough looks, his neighbor is an omega who is dealing with a powerful heat.
